-Designed and taught a two day lesson on historical Civil Rights events, interactive class-wide review lesson on the previous events, and an introductory lesson on the Great Society with President Johnson.
-Introduced students to Civil Rights Era curriculum by using primary sources and collaboration between peers.
-Learned how to differentiate curriculum to make the content connectable to all students, and form strong relationships with them.

-Guided students in expanding their knowledge on Canada through a variety of learning activities. (peer collaboration, videos, and independent projects)
-Modified lesson to virtually interact with students via Zoom. Students researched information concerning the assignment through multiple platforms.
-Learned how diverse and different classrooms can be; this lead me to be more adaptive, understanding, and optimistic regarding my future classroom and students.

-Participated in a virtual conference that focused on diversity within North Dakota's schools and professions, while beginning to work with students who had special needs at off-campus job sites.

-Created daily camp activities and supervised off-site trips for a varying age range. I also built and sustained professional relationships with the children and parents.
